Business at its peak. Built for health – Facilities powering the movement. Stable Events is delighted to welcome you to the physical activity facilities forum Europe 2026, where leaders from across the European physical activity sector come together to shape the environments that enable healthier, more active communities. This year’s theme, Built for health; the facilities powering the movement, places a spotlight on the spaces, systems and strategies that make physical activity possible. From design and development to operation and innovation, paf Europe 2026 will explore how facilities are evolving to meet the growing demands of public health, participation and performance. At Stable Events, we believe that meaningful connections drive progress. Our forums are designed to bring together decision-makers, operators and suppliers in an environment that encourages open discussion, collaboration and long-term partnerships and paf Europe 2026 is no exception. We are proud to welcome an outstanding line-up of speakers to the stage, including Oliver Patrick, Charlotte Braithwaite and Marianne Boyle. Together, they will share insights, challenge thinking and spark conversations around the future of physical activity facilities and their vital role in powering Europe’s movement agenda. Throughout the forum, delegates will have the opportunity to network with professionals from across the sector, connecting those who design, deliver and operate facilities with leading suppliers and service providers supporting their success. Oliver Patrick, Clinical Director, Co-Founder, Pillar Wellbeing, Future Practice, Viavi Health Strategy SYNOPSIS: Physiologist and Wellbeing Consultant Oli Patrick will look at the growing interface between the fitness sector and traditionally considered 'health, wellbeing, and medical' services. Using examples of integrated care models across the globe, Oli will explore potential commercial models in wellbeing delivery, ranging from intelligent partnerships to premium memberships and full wellbeing rebrands. In a confused consumer landscape Oli will attempt to bring a clarity to the range of opportunities the rapidly expanding consumer demand creates, whilst guiding to best practice and areas requiring increased need for caution. BIOGRAPHY: Oliver Patrick is a renowned physiologist and lifestyle medicine expert with over two decades of experience transforming how businesses and individuals approach wellbeing. After earning his degree in Exercise Sciences from the University of Birmingham, he led the UK’s largest team of physiologists, nutritionists, and wellbeing advisors at Nuffield Health. Oliver is the creator of the UK’s first Level 7 Diploma in Health & Wellbeing Physiology and co-founder of pioneering initiatives including Viavi, the world’s most advanced health optimisation service on Harley Street, and Future Practice, a professional training provider. Now, as Clinical Director at Pillar Wellbeing and Director of Wellbeing for Latus Health, Oliver advises organisations worldwide—including Nike, PureGym, HSBC, and Royal Air Force—on embedding evidencebased, personalised health strategies into their environments. Charlotte Braithwaite, Psychotherapist & Psychoeducator, Be Conscious Consulting Ltd SYNOPSIS: Psychotherapist and leadership coach Charlotte Braithwaite, with a specialist interest in Psychological Longevity, will explore how the future of fitness and wellbeing must respond to a world that is faster, more fragmented and more psychologically demanding than ever before. As stress, overstimulation, and cognitive load increase across all demographics, the growing focus on recovery within fitness and leisure settings is no longer only about physical repair, but about nervous system regulation and the lifelong capacity to sustain wellbeing. Through a psychological longevity lens, Charlotte will highlight how facilities that support down-regulation – through environment, education, language, and everyday practice - are increasingly well placed to bridge mind and body, enabling people to maintain movement, health behaviours and engagement over time. A second strand of the discussion will consider the role of relationships and connection in shaping sustained engagement with movement and wellbeing. From a psychological longevity perspective, Charlotte will reflect on how retention, resilience and behaviour change are influenced not only by what facilities offer, but by how people experience themselves within them. In an increasingly individualised world, environments that foster belonging, shared identity and psychologically informed interaction can create deeper commitment and continuity. Within this context, she will share simple, implementable tools that support both regulation and relationship-building – key emerging themes in whole-person health and in the evolving role of health clubs as places of connection, community, and long-term value. BIOGRAPHY: Charlotte Braithwaite is an award-winning Psychotherapist, Speaker, and Psychological Educator honing in on ‘Psychological Longevity’ – the capacity to maintain wellbeing, identity and emotional coherence in a world accelerating faster than the human psyche can naturally adapt. With a Master’s in Leadership & Organisational Coaching and over a decade of clinical and organisational experience, Charlotte works at the intersection of psychology, neuroscience, and human development. Her work examines the human system and the human psyche, exploring the core pillars of Psychological Longevity – emotional coherence, identity agility, relational connectedness, embodied capacity, meaning and momentum. She has delivered talks and training for organisations including the BBC, NHS, Scottish Ballet, Tesco Bank, and Creative UK, and her insights are featured widely across national media. Charlotte’s mission is to re-humanise the human experience by strengthening psychological longevity across individuals, leaders, and the systems they live and work in.

Ingenuousness creates the opportunity to discover many details, for example the play of light and space, structures create new spaces and connect different areas. The authentic and uncomplicated elevates well-being with a new essential value — a home away from home — the individuality of each guest finds its own space and the appropriate sense of well-being. Cosmopolitan, unbiased and consciously oriented towards today‘s society make it possible, in a discreet way, to feel like a guest — for the weekend or for many weeks a year, as a new home. Fitnes Fabrika (factory) and Fitnes Fabrika Fitness Factory is a group recreational training center for men and women that currently has two gyms in two different locations in the city. Two types of training are offered, functional training for women and crossfit. There are currently 600 active members, 30 different groups and 8 trainers who have their own groups in which they work. Last year, we opened a gym for children in a third location and that is currently our main focus and we want to expand it as a patent throughout the country. Fitness Factory Junior is a conceptually spacious space exclusively for developmental and corrective children's fitness. The developmental stages are the ones that impose the kind and complexity of working with children and are grouped depends on their ages. For the youngest, 4 and 5 years the main point is collective play and social belonging with their peers as well as motor development of all basic physical characteristics. The middle group of children, 6 to 10 years old, a series of exercises and short tasks work on the development of speed, strength, explosiveness, coordination and sense of space, which in turn are the elements that are the basis for their further sports engagement in any field. The 10+ programs are for kids that don’t want to play any schools sports or they stopped playing but also they need to continue to take care of them and to build a healthy lifestyle. Jon Giles is CEO of Jubilee Hall Trust, a Central London leisure charity established in 1978 and dedicated to improving community health and wellbeing. Over the past five years, the Trust has navigated significant financial challenges arising from the Covid-19 pandemic, rising energy costs, the cost-of-living crisis, and long-term debt servicing. In response, Jon and the Board made the difficult but necessary decision to sell Jubilee Hall to GLL, completing the transaction in December 2025 to secure the charity’s future. This milestone has enabled Jubilee Hall Trust to rebuild its cash reserves and refocus on its founding mission of improving the lives of local communities. Following comprehensive board appraisals, Jon and the trustees are recruiting a new Board to lead a strategic review, refresh the organisation’s mission, vision and values, and oversee a full organisational rebrand. Jon has already recruited trustees with expertise in finance and rebranding and is now seeking a trustee with grant funding and fundraising experience to support the next phase of the charity’s development. A further round of recruitment will follow once the new strategy is in place. Jon recently gave evidence at a public inquiry into Health and Wellbeing Services within the Houses of Parliament, where Jubilee Hall Trust has operated the on-site gym for over 20 years. He is now part of the committee shaping a new wellbeing strategy across the Parliamentary Estate. The Trust’s Southwark site—home to outdoor football pitches, tennis courts and gym facilities—continues to support community health and is now positioned for significant investment, alongside its Hampstead site, across M&E, equipment, flooring and core building infrastructure. The Trust has recently launched a breast cancer prehabilitation programme in partnership with the Royal Free Hospital and continues to deliver a strong programme of outdoor community events, including 2km, 5km and 10km races on Hampstead Heath, as well as its annual Autumn Duathlon.
