Astaris Managed IT Services is selected by Padel Republic for data and comms fit out of a new 6 court Padel venue.
With Padel being one of the fastest growing sports in the South East, especially on the coast, there is a great demand for additional courts.
The upcoming build (subject to planning consent) of 6 new, covered courts in Shoreham-by-Sea will greatly increase the availability of the sport and regenerate a disused brownfield site that is both close to several new flat complexes and to the town centre.
Padel Republic have selected Astaris to supply, install and maintain internet connectivity, wired & wireless data networks, telephony and assorted IT related hardware & software.
Managing Director of Astaris, Sacha Spencer-Phillips commented "Having looked after all the Underground Gym venues for 12+ years for Alan and team, we are delighted to be involved in this new and exciting project, we look forward to this being the first of many Padel Republic venues"
The build and fit out is expected to be well underway by the end of the year with a target opening date of some time early in 2026 and Astaris will be closely working with Brighton CCTV to deliver a "turnkey" building with all technology properly installed, ruthlessly tested and ready for heavy usage by the growing number of Padel players across East and West Sussex.
