Denton Wellness Centre gets the green light

Construction is set to get underway later this year on a £14m leisure scheme in Tameside after the development received planning approval.

The Team

The project is being delivered for Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council.
It is  developed by commercial developer Network Space and is being constructed over 15 months by Willmott Dixon.
After completion it will be managed by the Council’s leisure operator Active Tameside.

 

Pozzoni Architecture has designed facilities to be accessible by all

It will include an eight-lane competition swimming pool, learner pool, spa area, fitness suite and tenpin bowling alley. Other facilities will include meeting rooms, children’s soft play area and multi-use studio spaces.
