Neptunus design and manufacture a range of semi-permanent buildings that are suitable for a wide range of applications, including sports and leisure facilities.

A major advantage of temporary buildings is the flexibility of the structures, which can supply additional space for a period of months or many years. They can be built within a few weeks, are fully insulated, readily available in a wide range of sizes and require minimal foundations.

The company has constructed bespoke sports halls for organisations in the UK and across Europe. Last year one of Neptunus’ high-profile assignments involved creating a training centre for the Dutch Judo Association in Holland, while in the UK, Neptunus built a sports hall and multipurpose hall for a school in Essex.

The client said: “It’s a brilliant system, very flexible and it looks and feels like a permanent building but can be re-used and recycled if necessary. It really is a very impressive system which is fast to construct and inside can be adapted for any use.”

Among the latest of the company’s innovations which can be rented or purchased is a Four Court Sports Hall based on the size and specification building envelope of Sport England.
